Born in Montpelier, Benjamin Orcajada live and work at Uchaux in the south of France.

Both painter and philosopher,he is inspired by landscapes. Its paintings all converge on a reccurent theme that he discribe as "telluric" . He expresse the states of an original material from wich forms, structures and colors emerge. They constitute the spectacle of a silent dramaturgy in wich antagonistic forces conmbine with créative energies.Trough his paintings, we reach a new specific space-time dimension. His two books, "From Painting to Philosophy" and "The Glory of the Peacock" explain in the light of art history his deep intentions and the pictoral conception that feed them.
