MATT

Muriel Matt was born in Rennes (France) in 1976.

It is undoubtedly because she has held  pastel sticks even before she could walk that her works are so deeply rooted into the Universe of childhood.  She is a self-made artist.

Her paintings tell of the both strange and fascinating meeting between eyes, unveiling a soul.Her brightly-coloured portraits, full of contrasts and relief wander from norms, thus leaving no-one indifferent.

With the « Bubbles » she explores abstraction with a generosity similar to Sonia Delaunay's.
