AVRAMOV

Born in 1970 in Vraca-Bulgaria, graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia  he specialised in Murals.  A doctor in Art History which he teaches in the Unniversity of Veliko Tarnova in Bulgaria.

He has been awarded many rewards and prices, among which Th Master Prize of the Bulgarian Culture Ministrer during the first biennal festival of religious Art in 2009 and the Honour Medal « St Stephan of Perm » awarded by Moscow patriarchate for his contribution to Russian religious Art.

Vladimir AVRAMOV conducts artistic researches in various fields : Murals, mosaics, religious frescoes and icons.  He contributes to scientific journals and organises exhibitions.

Between 1997 and 2015 he has planned and completed works in 34 religious places in Bulgaria, Russia and Greece.    With his team, he has carried out no less than 9600 square meters of painting and mosaics.   Along with theses activities, he created modern works of Art intoduced in this exhibition.
